Happy New Year! Here's your first insect identification challenge of 2013. If you find this insect in your home, it could be a sign that you've got bed bugs. Can you name this Bug of the Week? Post your answer in the comments by next Tuesday, and come back on Wednesday for another challenge.
Last week's challenge was the Nantucket pine tip moth, Rhyacionia frustrana, a significant pest of forests in the eastern U.S. Kudos to Moni for identifying this one correctly.

The bug of the week is a Fly bug (Reduvius personatus), common in and close to buildings.
Agree with species but have always known it as the masked hunter… that is the problem with common names
The nymphs are cool when covered with dust and debris.
