Last week's photo was of one of the metallic wood-boring beetles, also known as buprestid beetles or jewel beetles. Its blue feet were the clue that probably helped Moni and Jeff identify it correctly as the Drummond's blue-footed buprestid, or Buprestis drummondi. Spirula identified it correctly to genus - well done.
