Okay, Bug of the Week is back! Thanks to those of you who commented or emailed your support for those of us in Sandy's path. I did, indeed, lose power for quite a while, and some of my family is still without power. Many of my friends' homes were flooded, and some won't be allowed back to their neighborhoods for months. But we're all safe. So, do you know what this insect is? Leave your answer in a comment below if you do.
Three readers - Jenn, Moni, and Jeff - recognized the long-necked seed bug, Myodocha serripes, which I posted in the last challenge. Well done!

Glad you are OK…sure sounds like many will have lots of clean up for a long time after Hurricane Sandy…esp in your area. Hope this nor’easter is not as bad as predicted and misses your area…NJ has had enough problems for this year!
