Did you know...

Some male moths will go to truly great lengths to find a mate. Male moths locate partners by detecting attractant pheromones emitted by the females. A male cecropia moth once traveled a full eight miles to reach a trap baited with a pheromone-releasing female. A promethea male holds the record for long distance love, however. He flew a wing-busting 23 miles to reach the female of his dreams.
