Free Newsletters from the Vermont Entomological Society

Tuesday February 19, 2008

Check out the website of the Vermont Entomological Society. This group came together in 1993, and sponsors bug-related field trips, workshops, and research in the Green Mountain State. Of particular interest for insect lovers are the downloadable versions of their newsletters. The most recent issue available, Fall 2007, has a fantastic cover photo of carrion beetles on a stinkhorn fungus. The newsletters also contain informative articles about interesting insects. Other areas of the website seem less up-to-date, but you'll find all the contact information you need if you happen to live in Vermont and would like to join.
